Ethical fashion, redefined
From day one, Everwear has set out to redefine what sustainable fashion truly means. By reducing the carbon footprint of our cotton garments by up to 90%, we’ve proven that clothing can be stylish, durable, and environmentally responsible all at once.
Our pieces are more than apparel they represent a conscious movement toward a healthier planet. Each garment we produce shows that it’s possible to create exceptional quality without harming the Earth’s soil, water, wildlife, or climate.
Our commitment to people
True sustainability is about more than materials it’s about people. At Everwear, we uphold the fundamental rights of every worker throughout our supply chain. We partner only with factories that provide safe and healthy working environments, fair wages, and legal employment contracts. We stand firmly against child labour, forced labour, discrimination, and unsafe conditions, and ensure all production adheres to international labour standards.
Every item we create is made under strict ethical guidelines. Our partner factories are audited annually under the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) Code of Labour Practices, which aligns with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions.
The Fair Wear Foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to improving working conditions in the textile industry. Its Code of Conduct ensures:
- No child or forced labour
- Safe and healthy workplaces
- Legal, fair contracts
- Payment of a living wage
- Freedom of association and collective bargaining
- No discrimination or harassment
- Reasonable working hours
All production sites are regularly audited and monitored for compliance by internationally recognised bodies such as the ILO and Ethical Trading Initiative. Fair Wear also conducts an annual brand performance check, ensuring transparency and accountability results that are publicly available.
Our manufacturing partners follow a Responsible Business Conduct Policy, committing to human rights due diligence and fair, long-term relationships with suppliers and workers alike.
By choosing Everwear, you’re supporting a supply chain that values people as much as the planet ensuring safe workplaces, fair pay, and dignity at every stage of production.
Achieving a lower carbon footprint
Our dedication to sustainability runs through every stage of production. We’re proud to partner with Stanley/Stella, a leader in responsible garment manufacturing and sustainability.
Stanley/Stella has long been at the forefront of reducing environmental impact. In 2024, they launched an industry-wide decarbonization plan, a major initiative that unites their entire ecosystem of factories, ginners, and farmers around a common goal to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2030 across their entire value chain.
By working closely with partners who share this commitment, we’re helping to drive meaningful change within the textile industry. From renewable energy use to efficient production and responsible sourcing, our goal is to create premium clothing with a lighter environmental footprint without compromising on quality or style.
Innovative manufacturing
Our main production partners operate modern, vertically integrated facilities in Bangladesh that combine advanced technology with a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility. Each site is selected for its ability to deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining strict ethical and environmental standards.
These factories follow internationally recognised codes of conduct to ensure safe working conditions, fair wages, and respect for workers’ rights. Local sustainability teams oversee compliance and improvement programmes that promote equality, skill development, and community support.
Superior yarns and fabrics
Every garment begins with carefully sourced materials. The cotton used in our products is 100 percent organic and certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), ensuring it is grown without harmful chemicals or genetically modified seeds.
The fabrics are knitted and dyed in facilities that prioritise responsible chemical management and water stewardship. All dyes and finishes meet OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and REACH regulations, ensuring they are safe for both people and the planet. Water used during dyeing is treated and recycled in closed-loop systems that prevent contamination and minimise waste.
This level of traceability allows us to guarantee that every fabric meets the highest standards of quality, comfort, and sustainability.
Leading the way in carbon reduction
Our production partners are committed to meaningful climate action. In 2024, they launched an industry-wide decarbonisation plan designed to unite manufacturers, ginners, and farmers under a shared goal: to reduce carbon emissions by 30 percent by 2030 across the entire value chain.
By working with facilities powered in part by renewable energy and continuously investing in energy efficiency, our supply chain is moving toward lower-impact production. This approach focuses on measurable progress rather than offsets, ensuring that every step—from cotton field to finished garment—reflects a genuine effort to reduce environmental impact.
The production process
Our material and production process begins with 100 percent organic cotton grown from non-genetically modified seeds and cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Every cotton bale is certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), ensuring full traceability from farm to finished garment.
We also use recycled cotton and recycled polyester sourced from both pre- and post-consumer waste. These materials are blended with organic cotton to maintain quality, durability, and a lower environmental footprint.
Across our network of partner factories, strict social and environmental standards are applied at every stage of production. Worker rights, safe conditions, wastewater treatment, and responsible chemical management are fundamental parts of how each garment is made.
Minimizing water usage
Conventional cotton farming can require tens of thousands of litres of water to produce a single kilogram of fibre. To reduce this impact, our production partners use certified organic cotton grown in regions where most of the water needs are met naturally by seasonal rainfall. This approach helps preserve groundwater and reduces the strain on local water systems.
In the later stages of production, all partner factories are equipped with on-site effluent treatment plants that clean and recycle the water used in dyeing and finishing. These systems ensure that wastewater is safely treated before being released back into the environment.
By sourcing organic cotton and working with facilities that prioritise responsible water management, we are able to create garments that minimise water use and protect surrounding ecosystems.
